2011 Fundraiser Gala
On November 12, 2011 we had over 100 supporters of Please Be Kind to Cyclists come together to support our shared mission of raising awareness for increased tolerance and harmony between cyclists and motorists on the road. The 1st Annual Gala was a great success thanks to your kindness and generosity.
You helped us raise over $25,000! Between ticket sales, silent auction of in-kind goods, donations of in-kind space, food, wine, marketing and video production, we collected just over $16,100. After event expenses, the organization raised just over $12,600. All proceeds from this event will go back to the community in the form of awareness and education programs to promote the safety of everyone that rides a bicycle. In particular, these funds will help cover part of the cost of producing educational videos to be used by Defensive Driving Course providers and Drivers Education providers in Texas and hopefully nationwide. We are thankful that you were a part of this memorable event. Your donation in support of Please Be Kind to Cyclists is incredibly appreciated. This 1st Annual Gala will always be remembered in years to come, as we continue to grow and reach more people around the globe.
