A rough cut of a trailer for an upcoming documentary featuring Al Bastidas from the non-profit organization "Please Be Kind To Cyclists" as well as Harvey Davis, John Fusselman, and Melissa Holan, three individuals who have lost a loved one as a result of a bike/auto crash. This documentary focuses on ghost bikes around the city of Austin that serve as a reminder to drivers to be more conscious of how they drive. Additionally, through telling the stories of three victims, this documentary aims to humanize cyclists and remind drivers that cyclists are people too.

Austin Chief of Police Art Acevedo discusses the importance of having Please BE KIND to Cyclists serve as a reminder that all cyclists are human and deserve to be treated as such on our roadways
It is customary in Austin (and in other parts of the country) to honor a fallen rider by putting up a "ghost bike" where the crash took place.
Hear the story that started it all. Al Bastidas recollects the day his life changed forever and how he turned a tragedy into a mission to save lives.
Please BE KIND to Cyclists asks everyone on our roads to show their support in getting everyone's loved ones home safe.
